Named after the historic Cuban town of La Santísima Trinidad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Trinidad brand has long held a prestigious place in the world of Habanos. Once reserved exclusively for diplomats, Trinidad cigars only became available to the wider public in 1998 and even then, in limited numbers.

The Robusto Extra was first released in 2004, quickly building a loyal following before being discontinued in 2012. Now, after more than a decade you have the chance to try one of these remarkable cigars.

Relaunched during the 2024 Habanos World Days festival in London, this Trinidad Robusto Extra is elegantly presented with three distinctive bands: the classic Trinidad band, a 55th anniversary emblem, and a foot band bearing the iconic “T” insignia.

Crafted with a medium bodied profile, this cigar combines signature Trinidad complexity with smooth accessibility. Expect a refined experience, with flavours evolving through layers of woody notes, honeyed sweetness, and touches of earth, coffee, spice, and subtle fruit. Each Robusto Extra is finished with the brand’s characteristic pigtail cap and handcrafted with long filler tobacco from Cuba’s prized Vuelta Abajo region.
