A symbol of luxury, and rarity due to the complexity of the manufacturing process Behike first appeared on 2006 to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Cohiba brand.

The name Behike refers to the spiritual leader of the Tainos people who were the original inhabitants.

Originally, only visiting dignitaries were offered these unique cigars. Eventually, the brand was made available to the wider world, and the rest is history.

What sets this cigar apart from other Cuban cigars is the use of medio tiempo filler leaf that grows at the very top of the plant, it gives a rich, complex and distinctive flavour.

Rolled in the historic El Laguito factory in Havana, the number 56 relates to the ring gauge of this particular Behike; it measures 6 1/2" In the factory it is known as a Laguito No. 6 in the factory.
