The Sampetrina is part of the Soldadera Edition by Casa
1910. This collection pays homage to the valiant women of the Mexican Revolution who defied the traditional roles of their time and stood shoulder to shoulder with their male counterparts on the battlefield. Named in honour of one such fearless Soldier, the Sampetrina is a bold yet elegant cigar that embodies strength, resilience, and refinement.
Handcrafted in the Dominican Republic, the Sampetrina features an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper ideal to showcase the flavour profile of the bunch. Beneath the surface a Dominican binder holds together a well aged combination of Mexican and Dominican fillers, carefully blended to create a smoke that is both complex and impeccably well balanced.
When you first light up your Sampetrina cigar you will get vibrant notes of red pepper and toasted oak, gradually giving way to deeper tones of dark chocolate, spices, and roasted coffee. The smoke is dense and creamy with excellent construction and a slow even burn that delivers an evolving medium to full bodied experience.
As the cigar progresses, its layered flavour profile continues to develop with hints of dried fruit and leather, finishing with a clean yet lingering sweetness.
